Around 30,000 cardiac arrests in the UK each year occur outside of hospital. With a survival rate of 1 in 10, the UK lags other developed nations. Would you know what to do?

General aims:
a) Know how to respond when you suspect someone is having a heart attack.
b) Know how to preform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
c) Know how to rapidly deploy and use a defibrillator (or AED machine if available).

Course content includes:
*The heart
*Sudden Cardiac Arrest – Chain of Survival
*How to help someone who has collapsed
*CPR
*AEDs (Automated External Defibrillator)

Certification: On successful completion of the course the delegate will have immediate access to download an echo3 eduction completion certificate. Successful completion requires the delegate to achieve 80% or more in the assessment. We recommend you refresh the CPR course every 3 years.

Duration: 35 minutes excluding assessment.
