An eating disorder is a potentially serious illness that affects your approach to food, eating and diet. Eating disorders commonly occur during teen or young adult life and affect both men and women.
Widely known eating disorders include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder.
This training course provides awareness of eating disorders, types and possible affects, and considers ways or providing support.
The aims of this training course are for learners to:

• Understand how Eating Disorders can affect different people in different ways
• Understand the interventions which can provide effective support
