This is a life changing course open to anyone who wants to change career direction and become a Professional Massage Therapist. The course has been mapped to National Occupational Standards & successful completion will allow you to gain insurance & practice as a Professional Massage Therapist; either self employed or employed

While training you will be able to join the Federation of Holistic Therapists as a Student Therapist and once fully qualified your membership will be upgraded and you will be able to insure your new skills and begin your new career as a Holistic Massage Therapist

This level 3 qualification course is accredited with the Federation of Holistic Therapists

The course length is 6 months and attendance will be for one full weekend each month – one of the weekends being for 3 days. As each weekend will be an intensive (but thoroughly enjoyable) learning experience it will be vitally important that students attend every time – so please ensure you are available for all of the dates before booking. Commitment to this course will be essential for your success as there will be a number of homework projects to complete and much massage practice in the form of case studies – students should anticipate around 6 hours per week for this in addition to course attendance.

Between weekends support will be available if needed from TEACH Therapy and your tutor. We want you to succeed so we will be there to answer any questions you have and give advice & guidance when needed.

During the course of the 6 months you will be required to complete case studies – this will involve providing massage for 15 individuals on 2 separate occasions and 7 individuals on 1 occasion. Some of these case studies can be completed in class.

Assessment will be in the form of homework assignments, case studies; practical and regular theory tests on an ongoing basis so no scary final exam at the end!
