Recruiting new staff isnt about taking on someone who interviews well. Its about seeing how they will fit in with the team & the organisations culture as well as the skills, knowledge, experience & behaviours that they can bring to that organisation. Its also about getting the right person who, will not only fill the gap but, will develop & enhance that job role in the future. If we just replace someone who has left with a similar person, we stand still and that means disaster for the organisation in the long term.
