HOW YOU WILL BENEFIT
This one day course is primarily for smaller companies, family owned businesses and their advisers. Founding a family business that can be passed on from one generation to the next may not necessarily appeal to potential inheritors. If succession is not a viable option, therefore, the business will need to be sold. Alternatively, outside private equity may be used to fund a management buy-out in order to release some value to relations while the remaining management can be incentivised to expand the company by acquisition. A sale and purchase transaction involves many decisions by all parties concerned. Attendees will learn to evaluate the options available and to structure a satisfactory deal for themselves or their clients.
