Description and objective: Virtual Village Pub is built around a business simulation game, where teams of managers are charged with running one of eight pubs.
The teams have to make numerous decisions in each round - such as pricing, staffing, entertainment, promotions, and capital expenditure.
The success of the programme derives from combining the familiar setting of a pub with the unfamiliar world of finance.
The programme is now being used regularly by organisations such as Nationwide, Budgens, Aggregate Industries and Yorkshire Water.
