Description and objective: The course prepares directors, senior and contract managers to take a more active role in health and safety.

The pressures on directors and senior managers to take greater responsibility for health and safety in their organisation are increasing. The HSE are encouraging it as good practice and the law is planned to tighten with the creation of the offence of corporate killing.
