Description and objective: This half day in house programme is a follow on from the course on Managing Attendance in the Workplace.

It covers:-

How to deal correctly with the initial report of absence

How to effectively monitor staff who are off sick

Strategies to effect an earlier return to work than might otherwise have been envisaged

How to conduct a professional and robust Return to Work Interview involving role play.

Suitability: The course is aimed at anyone who may have to conduct a Return to Work interview and is also a 'must' for HR practitioners whose role is to draw up absence control procedures.
