Description and objective: Managing diversity is about valuing the differences people from varied backgrounds bring to an organisation and nurturing them. This course covers legislation on human rights plus issues high on the political agenda - disability and ageism, equal opportunities and diversity. The focus of the course is recognising equal opportunities and diversity as an opportunity and not a challenge. Exercises and activities will encourage participation and provide time for reflection and action planning.

Suitability: Anyone who is new to the concept of diversity, especially line managers, and those who wish to discover how to add value to their business through their people.
