Description and objective: More and more managers are faced with employment issues that require resolution formally or informally. This course provides guidance on the basic principles in using procedures and the importance of being fair and reasonable.
This practical course gives you a sound understanding of how employment law affects managers on a day-to-day basis in the management of employees. There are important changes to the law in this area requiring employers and employees to make use of procedures in certain circumstances. This course will deal with the law in a down to earth and accessible way with real life examples and exercises to illustrate the importance of getting things right and the consequences when things go wrong.
