Description and objective: Dealing with difficult staff is a problem that many managers hope will go away but it rarely does. It is important that justice is seen to be done during a disciplinary interview: you need to question the member of staff carefully to check out all the facts, and to record your findings in full and also objectively. During this programme, delegates will learn how to handle issues of discipline and grievance face-to-face and gain an understanding of the legal implications of their words and actions.
