Description and objective: You are asessed by an instructor as you progress. Candidates meeting pass criteria are issued LANTRA Certificate.
The experienced candidate will be able to: identifty, inspect and comment on key parts of the chainsaw; prepare the chainsaw for work safely; carry out daily and routine maintenance of the saw; operate the chainsaw safely and effectively including the felling of trees up to 200mm in diameter; state knowledge that underpins operating a saw; identify risk assessement and emergency procedures on a worksite.
