Description and objective: We provide the training and you are assessed by an independent assessor from NPTC. We will arrange the assessment for you.
This course also includes the Takedown of Hung-up trees using a winch.
You will be able to identify risk assessment and emergency procedures; select equipment required for safe and effective felling; fell medium sized trees safely and accurately; sned or de-limb them; cros cut stems over guide bar length'; select and use winching equipment suitable for take down of hung up trees.
