Description and objective: We provide the training and you are assessed by an independent assessor from NPTC. We will arrange the assessment for you. Identify and inspect and comment upon key parts of the equipment to be used; prepare the equipment for safe use; comment upon the structure, condition and properties of the tree to be worked; use the chainsaw and other pruning tools whilst maintaining a working position within the crown of the tree; using rope and harness in conjunction with ground staff.
