Description and objective: An introductory overview to probably the Worlds’ most advanced, frequency spectrum efficient, Private Mobile Radio (PMR) system providing personal radio communications to date. It makes speech and data services, simultaneously, available to hand portable terminals, with or without encryption, to an open specification allowing full flexibility to ‘mix and match’ different manufacturers equipment.

The market target is professional users and security forces World wide and is currently being rolled out to the UK Police Forces and other ‘blue light’ services.

This course will provide an insight to TETRA for those wanting to find out more about this emerging technology, or just wishing to broaden their skills range.
