Description and objective: The University of Oxford Continuing Professional Development Centre offers a two-day advanced follow-on course on the successful launching of 3G services and the strategy realisation.
The workshop covers issues such as Launch options, early adopters, peer to peer, communities, cannibalisation, mass markets, pricing, and customer service including lessons from recent technologies as well as early adopter countries around the world. The course is non-technical in nature and is intended to provide an unbiased comprehensive review of the 3G service launch environment, with a strong emphasis on the latest findings, research and theories. The knowledgeable instructors provide hands-on tools and proven methods also to understand the competitive environment and business in early 3G. The course material includes full documentation, executive summaries to the books and reports written by the lecturers.
