Description and objective: This Workshop enables students to write and test several typical PL/I Programs.It consolidates the knowledge gained on the PL/I Application programming course. (See www.MinervaTraining.com)
Designed for Trainee or Experienced Programmers
Pre-requisites are PL/I Programming knowledge, Program Edit and Job submission knowledge.
Upon successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
Write and test typical PL/I programs with minimum supervision.
Contents:
Program Development,
Standard solutions to typical problems,
PL/I Coding to standards and time limits,
Batch updates,
validation and print programs,
Walk throughs,
Testing and Debugging.
Allow 3 - 10 Days depending on student's experience in programming and practicals required.
