Description and objective: After the course delegates will be able to:
Understand what assertiveness is and how to recognise it.
Demonstrate an understanding of all four behavioural styles.
Demonstrate an ability to use the key skills of assertiveness.
Construct a personal development plan to improve assertiveness skills.

Suitability: Anyone who wishes to communicate more effectively in difficult situations or with “difficult people”. Anyone who needs to persuade other people to take actions or make decisions.
