Description and objective: After the course delegates will be able to:
Practise the skills and attitudes involved in helping colleagues to solve their own problems and gain an understanding of what counselling can achieve in the workplace and its limitations.
Demonstrate how to use listening and supporting skills.
Explore and practise ‘person-centred’ problem solving.
Describe the difference between counselling and other forms of support and guidance. Suitability: Designed for those people who are required to help and support others in their working environment.
