Description and objective: This event is for anyone who wishes to develop a range of effective problem solving and creative thinking techniques.
It is designed to be highly participative and fun, with practice supplemented by theory.
The course looks at how creativity can be used in the workplace in a range of scenarios. For example, it can be used to help solve problems that are preventing individuals and teams moving forwards.
It can also be used to create new processes, systems and ways of thinking: this is particularly important at a time when resources are increasingly under pressure, forcing us to reconsider the way that we do things.
You will leave the event with a toolkit of techniques that you can apply back at the workplace.
By the end of the course, you will understand:
* the context of creativity and problem solving in the workplace;
the ideal working environment for creativity and problem solving;
* how to apply a range of problem solving and creativity techniques in different situations.
