Description and objective: Our 'flagship' course is 'Endorsed by the College of Occupational Therapists' and is designed for those with responsibility for the health & safety and welfare of carers, with regards to the moving and handling of clients. It provides delegates with the knowledge, skills and confidence to train others in the skills of safer people handling and to conduct Manual Handling Risk Assessments. This course is run at public venues throughout the UK; £675+VAT per delegate outside London, £795+VAT (London).

Suitability: Course programme includes: legislation, anatomy of the spine, biomechanics, ergonomics, Risk Assessment, effective teaching skills and practical techniques.
