Description and objective: Course Outline
Failure Modes & Effects Analysis is a logical risk assessment technique, which can be used to identify and eliminate (or reduce) possible causes of failure.
An Introduction to design and Process FMEA is a participative workshop comprising a mixture of tutorial sessions and breakout group workshops where participants learn by working through examples of products or processes to successfully complete a FMEA.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will:
Understand the purpose of FMEA
Have a conceptual understanding of the steps of the FMEA process
Know how to choose an appropriate topic for analysis
Be able to successfully undertake an FMEA in there own work place.
