Description and objective: There are 3 certainties in life: death, taxes and giving presentations! How do you make the latter an enjoyable process for you and a worthwhile, stimulating and meaningful one for your audience? That is the question that this course addresses.
As the quest for organizational learning increases and the demand for market differentiation between organizations intensifies, never has been the need for giving effective presentations been so critical. However, most presentations within organizations fall short of the mark in terms of impact, enjoyment and outcome. The reason for this is largely due to the fact that individuals are trained in the technical aspects of presentations but never the cognitive or behavioural aspects.
This course addresses these aspects. By introducing the delegates to a unique combination of sensory preference and brain dominance, we can build up a multi-faceted approach to presentations that will add extra value to their delivery. This, combined with elements of stagecraft and personal state management will result in the delegates being far more confident and capable in giving high-caliber presentations.
The key objectives of the course are:
·Understand the sensory preferences of individuals.
·Realize the affect of brain dominance on presentation impact.
·Linking the style (how we say it) of the presentation to its substance (what we say).
·Using stagecraft to add differentiation and impact.
·Controlling personal emotional states to exude confidence and capability.
The word Neos is Greek for new, unique or novel. This explains our ethos of training and development. As specialists in the provision of training for trainers, all Neos Learning courses use a combination of Accelerated Learning and other Brain-Based learning techniques. This means that our delegates receive the current theories of learning and development in a style that exhibits best practice training.
The course is designed for a maximum of 15 delegates and assumes that the delegates have some working experience of giving presentations within organisations.
