Description and objective: NVQs are made up of a number of different units. On completion of the relevant units, you will get your NVQ award.
The certificate is awarded by City and Guilds. However, if you only complete some units, we will still credit you for those units.
You will get a formal record which will list all the units you have completed. An NVQ is a certificate recognising achievement by an individual. NVQ's in care are based on national occupational standards agreed by the health and social care sectors.
