Description and objective: A certified laser safety introduction course, providing the successful trainee with a level 2 award (GCSE equivalent at grade A-C). We believe this is the first laser safety qualification certifed by a recognised national awarding body.
The content is aimed at laser users, and anybody who is likely to come into contact with lasers and needs to understand the classes, hazards posed and safe working practices.
Trainees requiring a more in-depth knowledge of the subject can progress onto more advanced, certified laser safety qualifications with Lucid.
