Description and objective: A 2-day course covering the essentials of laser safety for users of lasers in a wide range of industries and applications. The course covers BS EN 60825 and IEC 60825 laser safety standards and aims to provide trainees with a good understanding and awareness of laser safety hazards and safe working practices. The course includes a written test and succesful trainees will be awarded a level two qualification from OCN (Open College Network).
