Duration:

This QCF Diploma usually takes 12-15 months to complete.

Overview:

Learners who choose this course are taught in a class at one of our training centres on day release. Attendance of classes is required. There are compulsory units for all students covering: – Management Accounting (two units) – Financial Statements – Internal Control and Accounting Systems (project) Students must also complete two options from a choice of four (subject to demand) covering: – Auditing – Business Taxation – Personal Taxation – Credit Management and Debt Control

Who Should Apply:

You may be working in a smaller business where you will become the expert on finance within the organisation or you may be working for a larger company as part of a wider financial team. You might be a self-employed person, opting to provide accounting services for small businesses and the self-employed.

Outcomes/Entry Requirements:

The QCF Diploma will provide some underpinning knowledge for this qualification and is preferred. Learners will also be accepted if they can demonstrate their working knowledge of the subject by completing the AAT Skill Scan on application. You also need to be reasonably numerate and be able to complete exams and written projects in English.

Funding:

Acacia Training have funding to support learners in this qualification as part of the newly agreed Higher Apprenticeship. This level of Apprenticeship is classed as a Technician Level Apprenticeship and is a government priority, especially for learners aged 19-24 years of age. Textbooks will be provided for fully funded learners aged under 19 years of age at the start of the course. There is a requirement for a cash contribution from the employer towards the cost of delivery of the Higher Apprenticeship which is grant funded under State Aid for any learner aged over 19 years.

The QCF Diploma at Level 4 is also available commercially to those who are not eligible for funding at a price of £2000 +VAT, with an additional cost for the necessary textbooks.
