The module concentrates on asbestos, but other fibres, e.g. MMMF, ARAMIDS, etc, are also covered. Successful completion of this module will benefit those working in asbestos consultancy as well as mainstream occupational hygiene, giving an understanding of the health risks associated with asbestos and other fibres and their evaluation and control.The course includes an MCQ paper with 60 questions that requires a 50% mark to pass and an Essay requiring a minimum of 50% marks. For a credit delegates must achieve 70% on both papers.
