This is a Category A course on asbestos awareness. As well as informing you about the risks of working with asbestos, the course will deliver a lot more information about: Recognising asbestos, where it’s used, minimising the risks and the legislation about working with asbestos.

Asbestos Awareness For Architects and Designers – IATP

£35 + VAT per candidate

Both courses consist of 4 modules:

Module 1 – Properties and risks of Asbestos exposure
Module 2 – Different types of Asbestos
Module 3 – Legislation
Module 4 – Avoiding the risks from Asbestos

Each course presents you with 3 opportunities to pass each module. You must pass each module individually with a score of 100% before progressing to the next stage and completing the course.

The Asbestos Awareness – IATP course will take approximately 60 mins and the Asbestos Awareness course for Architects and Designers will take approximately 70 mins respectively. Upon successful completion, you will receive an electronic certificate which you can either save or print at your leisure.
