Identifying and managing conflicts of interests is a key part of good governance for any organisation. Without appropriate systems in place for the declaration and evaluation of interests, organisations could be open to challenge when making decisions about investments and service delivery.

This course is suitable for anyone involved in the declaration or management of conflicts of interests including:

the role of declaring interests and the importance of managing potential conflicts;
how to develop and implement process to identify potential conflicts and make decisions about how they should be managed;

about non-financial interests and why you these need to be declared too;
how to manage offers of gifts, sponsorship and hospitality;

the best way to maintain and publish registers of interests.
