Overview

There is a legal requirement under current legislation (Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999) to manage workplace safety. The legislation requires an employer to appoint a competent person to carry out this duty. Part of the competencies are to ensure the key personnel are properly trained and a acceptable level of training is this IOSH Managing Safely course.

Learning outcome

Beesafe’s IOSH Managing Safely Training Course provides those responsible for Health & Safety with an understanding and appreciation of the legal requirements it enable duty holders to comply with the mandatory requirement to comply with the introduction and maintenance of a safety management system.)The course covers key areas such as detailed below. At the end of the course upon successful completion the delegate will be awarded a IOSH certificate which will allow them to operate a H&S Advisor for 5 years. .
