This course explains the background to Legionella and Legionnaires’ disease, the potential risks associated with water systems and how these can be prevented or controlled.

It consists of 5 modules:

Module 1 -What is Legionella?
Module 2 – Risk Areas
Module 3 – Legislation
Module 4 – Risk Management
Module 5 – Water System Monitoring

Each course presents you with 3 opportunities to pass each module. You must pass each module individually with a score of 70% or more before progressing to the next stage.

The course will take approximately 60 minutes and upon successful completion, you will receive an electronic certificate which you can either save or print at your leisure.
