Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing – Gym Based

Are you looking to start a career in the Fitness Industry? Perhaps you want to work in a gym or become a Personal Trainer? Then our Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification is the starting point for you.

As a Gym Instructor your job will require you to be an ambassador for your club. You will often be the first impression for a new member and often a role model for younger people. This is a vital position and one that gives you the opportunity to kick-start a change in someone’s health and well-being.

As their Gym Instructor you could be setting client programmes whilst demonstrating safe and effective exercise techniques. However, the role involves much more than this and that is where Active IQ is ideally placed to ensure you reach your full potential with our Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.

Alongside expert training, you are given the added bonus of being able to work alongside your tutors, assessors and the staff at the Inspire Centre gym in Calderdale College, Halifax.
During these periods you can practice your technique and teaching skills with the help and guidance of the staff, as well as covering any areas of concern from the units. This will also give you real world feedback from our own gym clients which are invaluable work experience.
