Prader Willi syndrome is a genetic condition which symptoms include a spectrum of associated learning difficulties, restriction in growth development, behaviour challenges, and constant hunger causing concerns with weight, diet and health.
This training course provides an introduction into the condition, confirms what the condition is, how it may affect people and how people can be supported.
The aims of this training course are for learners to:
• Understand what Prader Willi syndrome is and how it can affect people in different ways
• Understand the characteristics and challenges people with Prader Willi syndrome may experience
• Understand how to provide support to people with Prader Willi syndrome and their families and supporters
